I cant uncheck the local disk c box in the system restore menu. in vista? - c-box
I have a virus and then uncheck the box for the System. but I click on the button and nothing happens. I get some help please? I have Vista Service Pack 1 on an HP laptop. Thank you.

May I suggest another alternative for getting rid of viruses?
Please contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or visit the website, then you might be able to see weather or not you can get much of a security program (eg if you are a Comcast customer, you can McAfee's free. only comcast.net and click) go to security.
In fact, System Restore is more pain than it seems - may cause many problems, believe me.
